“I first noticed the article in the Monitor about the coaching this Fall and was interested, so I contacted Talya and we got together where she explained the program and answered all my questions. I gave it a try. I was able to identify my goals for the future, which included weight loss, a regular exercise routine, and some lifestyle decisions. She arranged a month’s free trial at Tri-State Athletic Club with 8 private training sessions. I worked with Robin who does an outstanding job leading you through a series of weight training exercises in 30 minutes with clear explanations of how to get the most benefit. Talya met with me for an hour every two weeks and we discussed my progress, making suggestions and keeping me focused. This was a greatly beneficial part of the program. “The comprehensive session not only discussed working out but how to exercise different body parts. I received a great handout. It would be even better if there was one live session instead of a virtual session for the initial session. I learned about food products that are anti-inflammatory, which I was not aware of. In the session, D3 levels and overall health were discussed. The pleasantness of Rachel made the session fun and a great learning experience. I hope VCMS wellness will offer health classes in the future.”

I have participated in several wellness 360 financial presentations and found them both informative and helpful. I wanted to get a second opinion on what I was already doing and investigate if there were other opportunities that I wasn’t aware of that would be helpful for my financial situation.
