The Vanderburgh County Medical Society is a non-profit association organized in 1845 to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health. For over 170 years, the VCMS has been a friend and a voice for Vanderburgh County physicians. With over 500 local physician members, the VCMS is the only organization in the county dedicated solely to physicians’ interests. The Vanderburgh County Medical Society is transforming itself into a vibrant and active community of Tri-State-area physicians that connect and build relationships with their colleagues to enhance the health of the community.
