“I believe everything in life is about balance and moderation. This includes what comes in and out of our mind, body, and the connections within and around us. My role is to be a loving mirror as we explore and navigate patterns that may no longer be serving you and focus on nourishing and developing ones that do. What we resist persists. I’ve seen people grow and heal with just one mindful breath and believe you are worthy of peace and joy amidst whatever pain, confusion, or chaos you may be experiencing.”
Andrea received her Master of Social Work in 2010 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who developed a unique skill set after a decade of working in the field of palliative care providing individual therapy and community education. She is passionate about exploring ways to start one’s growth and healing journey before it’s too late.
She quickly learned grief is beyond just a death, but rather any form of loss. Sometimes that includes losing what we thought life would look like or when people lose themselves while tending to or pleasing others. She believes your worth and value should not be dependent upon another person or external factors.
Andrea considers our mind-body connections as one of the greatest natural healing tools we already have in us yet also aware of how difficult it can be to be fully present with ourselves. She values a holistic approach and integrates mindful-based and somatic interventions into most of her work with clients to explore the landscape of ways to balance preparing for the future, learning from the past, and striving to be present in the moment.
