As part of his OB/GYN practice, Dr. Sandefur specializes in gynecological surgery and the treatment of gynecological cancers. He has a particular interest in pelvic support, bladder studies, bladder surgery and robotic surgery. At the Women’s Hospital, Dr. Sandefur is a member of the Board of Managers and Director of Quality and Safety Programs concerning the Family Centered Care Team. He also serves as Regional Preceptor and Adviser for Boston Scientific, a medical device company, and for Ethicon Surgical Products.
Dr. Sandefur is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
HOBBIES
The father of five children, Dr. Sandefur enjoys tennis and golf.
